CBD has become a go-to for treating an array of ailments and illnesses. It has become synonymous with wellness. CBD wellness regimens are versatile and can be used as a preventative supplement or to treat symptoms of an existing illness. Whilst everyone is different and will experience different results from using supplements the great thing about CBD is that it has little to no side effects.

Perhaps the most pertinent question pertains to dosage. Every individual is different so determining the right dose for you will not necessarily apply to someone else.
Starting with a lower dosage of around 50mg per day for at least 7 days will help to gauge how you are feeling and if your symptoms are persisting you can gradually increase the dosage over the next 1-2 weeks. We always suggest starting with a lower dosage as it may be perfect for treating mild pain or anxiety.

So how can CBD be preventative?
Humans and most vertebrates (including our pets) have an Endocannabinoid System (ECS). Our ECS has receptors called CB1 and CB2 receptors which are responsible for regulating many of the physiological and cognitive systems within the body.
The ECS is responsible for regulating hormones, for signaling when we are hungry or when it is time for rest. The ECS is also responsible for mood and memory.
Our body makes molecules called endogenous cannabinoids which help to keep these functions running smoothly. These endogenous cannabinoids are very similar to the cannabinoids within CBD.
When the body is stressed or overwhelmed the body does not produce enough of these endogenous cannabinoids and as a result these regulatory systems get out of whack. CBD can come to the rescue by bringing the body back in to alignment.
As we get older our body does not produce enough of these cannabinoids and others like growth hormones, serotonin, etc. CBD definitely gives us an advantage.
Instead of waiting for a problem within the body and then trying to fix it, CBD can assist in preventing problems from arising by ensuring that the body’s systems are functioning effectively.
There are many different ways to take CBD and we will delve in to these more deeply so that you can make an educated decision when purchasing CBD.
Along with dosage, bioavailability is also a key factor. Bioavailability is the amount of CBD that ends up in the blood stream. Vaping, dabbing and smoking flower allow for the highest bioavailability but not everyone wants to smoke CBD. Fortunately, sublingual tinctures allow for around 40% of the CBD to enter the bloodstream. We will talk about those first.

Our edibles are delicious and easy to consume. We sell a wide range of gummies all precisely dosed from 10mg per piece to 30mg per piece. Our gummies are available in both Broad Spectrum (no THC) and Full Spectrum (0.3% THC).
Edibles have around a 10-15% bioavailability. Many people use them for pain and to aid in getting a better night’s rest.
CBD is widely used for inflammation caused by arthritis. Often when people experience ongoing pain it is because the brain is stuck in a pattern of signaling the body to assist and repair. Inflammation is a system to prevent further damage to an area. When the body gets stuck in a control pattern of repeating these messages like in the case of an injury that happened years ago, CBD can help to regulate the response via the CB1 and CB2 receptors.

CBD & CBG Flower
Simply put, Flower is the buds or flowers produced by the female hemp plant. These flowers can then be used to create CBD Isolate and Distillate through a method of extraction. We are proud to source our distillate and isolate using only clean co2 extraction methods.
