Making CBD Halloween Treats is Easy & Fun

CBD can be added to a variety of recipes making for a fun, relaxing evening. You can add as little or as much as you would like to your Halloween CBD treats, ensuring that you have just the right dosage to make the evening enjoyable.

A dosage of between 20mg – 50mg is a good overall dosage so if you plan on eating multiple treats average it out. For example, if you are going to eat 4 cake pops, put 5mg – 10mg in each cake pop.

If you are making more than one dish that contains CBD ratio the amount you would like each person to take averaged over the number of dishes that contain CBD.

For the Halloween CBD punch, you can either add the CBD tincture directly to each glass or you can add the entire bottle to your punch if you plan on serving more than 8 people.


Berry Eyeball CBD-spiked Punch

Berry Eyeball Halloween CBD Punch
Ingredients
  • 3 cups blackberries
  • 18 canned lychees (from one 20-ounce can), plus 3/4 cup syrup from the can
  • 1,000mg Full Spectrum or Broad-Spectrum CBD Tincture Unflavored or Cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 2 cups sweetened acai juice
  • 1 cup blueberry juice cocktail
  • 18 large blueberries

1 cup spiced rum, vodka or gin (optional)

Directions
  1. Puree the blackberries, lychee syrup and lemon juice in a blender. Strain through a fine-mesh sieve into a pitcher, pressing on the solids with a rubber spatula. Add the CBD Tincture, acai juice and blueberry juice. Stir well. Refrigerate until chilled, at least 2 hours.
  2. Gently push a blueberry into the cavity of each lychee. Transfer the punch to a punch bowl or pitcher and add the stuffed lychees, then gently stir in the rum, if using. Serve over ice.

Spooky CBD Healthy ‘Cake’ Pops

Healthy and Spooky CBD Cake Pops
Ingredients
  • 4 ounces chopped bittersweet chocolate
  • 2 teaspoons coconut oil
  • 2 large Granny Smith apples, stemmed
  • 4 ounces chopped white chocolate
  • 1,000mg Full or Broad-Spectrum CBD tincture
  • 1 gram CBD Isolate (for dusting)
Directions
Special equipment:

 8 wooden ice-pop sticks and a toothpick

  1. Line a baking sheet with parchment or a silicon baking mat.
  2. Cut the apples lengthwise (stem to bottom) into 4 thick slices each. Remove any visible seeds and keep the core intact. The end slices will be rounded; cut a thin slice off so they lay flat. Poke a small hole in the bottom of each slice with a wooden ice-pop stick and push halfway into the apple. 
  3. Combine the bittersweet chocolate and 1 teaspoon of the coconut oil in a medium microwave-safe bowl and microwave at 50 percent power for 30-second increments, stirring in between, until melted and smooth. Add the white chocolate and remaining 1 teaspoon coconut oil to another medium microwave-safe bowl and microwave at 50 percent power for 30-second increments, stirring in between, until melted and smooth. Once the dark chocolate has cooled you can add the CBD, stirring thoroughly. Work out the ratio, for instance if you have 20 apple slices and want the dosage to be 20mg each, you would add 400mg to the dark chocolate.
  4. Dip half of the apple slices completely in the bittersweet chocolate, letting the excess drip back into the bowl, and place on the prepared baking sheet. Dip the remaining apple slices in the white chocolate. Let sit at room temperature so the chocolate thickens a bit, 10 to 15 minutes. 
  5. Transfer the leftover dark and white chocolate to 2 separate small resealable plastic bags and snip a small corner off each bag. Pipe 3 to 4 dark chocolate concentric circles on the white chocolate-dipped apples and visa-versa. Drag a toothpick through the circles, starting the center and working your way out to create a spider web design. 
  6. Dust the cake pops with a tiny bit of CBD Isolate (optional)
  7. Refrigerate until hardened, 15 to 20 minutes.

Pumpkin Cheese Ball

Halloween CBD Pumpkin Cheese Ball
Ingredients
  • 3 cups orange cheese puffs
  • CBD Isolate or CBD Tincture
  • 2 pounds cream cheese, at room temperature
  • 3 cups shredded Cheddar
  • 1/4 cup chopped chives
  • Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 bell pepper with a long stem
  • Crackers, for serving
Directions
  1. Put the cheese puffs in a food processor and process until finely ground. Transfer to a rimmed baking sheet.
  2. Combine the cream cheese, Cheddar, chives, 1 teaspoon salt and 1/4 teaspoon pepper in a large bowl and mix to combine. Add the CBD Isolate or Tincture. Mold the mixture into a ball, pressing the top of the ball with your hand to flatten it. With the tip of a butter knife, carve lines down the sides to resemble a pumpkin. 
  3. Roll the cheese ball in the ground cheese puffs. Remove the entire bell pepper stem with a paring knife and put it on top of the cheeseball as the pumpkin stem. Seed and slice the bell pepper. Serve the cheeseball on a plate with crackers and slices of bell pepper.

Halloween CBD Witches Fingers

Witches Fingers Treats with Full Spectrum CBD
Ingredients
  • Vegetable oil cooking spray
  • Hempstrax CBD Isolate powder or 1,000mg of Broad or Full Spectrum CBD Tincture
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour 
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder 
  • 1/4 teaspoon fine salt 
  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, at room temperature 
  • 1 cup sugar 
  • 1 large egg, at room temperature 
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract 
  • 28 large sliced almonds 
  • 1/2 cup raspberry jam 
Directions
  1. Place an oven rack in the center of the oven. Preheat the oven to 325 degrees F. Spray a rimmed baking sheet with vegetable oil cooking spray or line with a silicone baking mat. Set aside.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder and salt. Set aside.
  3. In the bowl of a stand mixer fitted with the paddle attachment, beat the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy, scraping down the sides of the bowl with a spatula as needed, about 2 to 3 minutes. Beat in the egg and vanilla until smooth. Gradually beat in the flour mixture until a dough forms.
  4. Using about1 1/2 tablespoons of dough at a time, roll the dough between your palms into 5-inch-long fingers about 1/2-inch thick. Firmly press a sliced almond into the end of each finger to make fingernails. Make several horizontal cuts, about 1/4 inch deep and 1/2 inch long, in the center of each finger to make knuckles. Press the dough on either side of the cuts to shape the knuckles. 
  5. Arrange the fingers on the prepared baking sheet and bake until light golden, 16 to 18 minutes. Transfer the fingers to a wire rack and cool completely.
  6. In a small saucepan, heat the jam over low heat until warm, about 2 minutes. Once the jam has cooled, add the CBD Isolate or CBD tincture.  Dip the blunt ends of the fingers in the warm jam and arrange on a platter.
